I am a first time homebuyer, with a limited budget that made finding a place in San Francisco a bit of a challenge. Moreover, I entered into the market in the midst of the covid pandemic. Natalie was my main point of contact throughout my many months of trying to find the perfect place in my less than perfect price range. She answered every one of my millions of questions quickly and thoroughly. Derek was an equally great second- filling in for Natalie and spending a day with me at a home inspection. His calm presence and conversation kept me at ease during a very stressful day. Every single listing agent I met, smiled and shared a story with me about a recent transaction they made with Natalie and Derek and told me how wonderful they both are. Natalie was honest throughout the entire experience- telling me what I should look for in the disclosure packets, and when I should let a house go because of something she noticed. We wrote quite a few offers together and as I started to feel the hope and dream of ownership slipping away from me, Natalie was there to remind me that other places would pop up. When I asked tough questions about different types of ownership ( TIC’s) she answered to the best of her ability and even found an online class for me to attend to learn the ins and outs of this nuanced type of ownership. When we finally entered into contract on my condo she was a fierce advocate for me every step of the way. Even going to the condo with a team to troubleshoot the gas fireplace that we couldn’t seem to figure out during our previous visit. The HOA I entered into was run quite casually, which led to a few potential bumps along the way with loan approval- but Natalie talked with the loan team to figure out what they needed, drafted her own version of an HOA budget for the upcoming year and then submitted it to the HOA president who reviewed and approved it. Waiting for the HOA president to get this done could have stalled my closing date, but Natalie made sure to get it done. I am beyond grateful and still in awe that my dream of ownership in San Francisco has come true. I owe it all to Natalie and Derek. I cannot recommend these two enough- seriously just call them now if you’re looking for the best. Natalie and Derek were an absolute dream to work with.
