From our Sellers:
560 Fell has been a special place to us. Looking back, we instantly fell in love with it the day we saw it. After walking through the brand new renovation we walked down to one of the many wine bars to recount our feelings. We listed the massively tall ceilings, amazing light, massive master/bathroom, multiple outdoor spaces, and the clean/modern/uniform finishes. We joked that everything was so big and heavy (ex. all the doors). More than any other part of the unit, we spent the majority of our time cooking in the GREAT kitchen listening to music through the surround sound speakers. After living in the unit for an extended time, we noted what a great job the developers did — they took a lot of pride in what they built.
On top of loving the place itself, it was extremely important to us to be very close to all the happenings in Hayes Valley (one of our favorite neighborhoods in the city). We frequented Domo (ridiculously good sushi), A Mano (amazing / affordable Italian), Blue Bottle (coffee), and The Riddler (super cool champagne/wine bar) just to name a few regulars. Alamo Square, just up the hill from us, is nothing short of epically beautiful. We spent many days literally going there in the Am and PM to play with our son / picnic / exercise. Hayes is also an amazing location relative to the rest of SF — 10 mins south to the Mission; 10 mins north to Marina — along with freeway access to the 101 five mins away.
We started our family at 560 Fell and it was perfect for our son to have his own room and our au pair have her independent space downstairs. Moreover the ability to wheel baby and groceries right through the garage into our unit was an amazing feature.
We had a great relationship with our neighbors, 2 young couples, and will miss the city terribly.
With love,
Josh and Lindsay
