The Neighborhood

 

Anza Vista sits atop a hill near the University of San Francisco. It is primarily a residential neighborhood that offers some lovely views. Typical architecture dates from the ’30s and ’40s with a Spanish-Mediterranean flair along with some slightly newer Art Deco homes. Most have yards and ample parking. The nearby Jewish Community Center is located at California and Presidio and offers art, dance and gym classes. Laurel Village is handy for shopping and offers some dining opportunities as well.
